Payment - Web Design
Web World Designs
use freelance designers, therefore no VAT is charged on work - the price
you see is the price you pay, there are no "hidden" extras nor
unpleasant surprises.
A deposit of 20% is required with any project before any design work
will be carried out.
Deposits are non refundable once the project has started or is in
progress.
When a web design project has been designed & completed the final
balance of payment is due.
In the
case of a single page "Starter" website, the full fee will be payable in
advance before work begins.
In the event of any third-party charges being accrued through returned
or stopped cheques, or other charges levied against payment on the
account, the customer accepts full liability for the costs involved.
Web World Designs
reserves the right to remove any Web Design Project from viewing on the
Internet until final payment is made.
Once payment is cleared, the completed website will be released to the
net.
Should the client decide they no longer want the website, because they
have commissioned the work and paid a deposit they are still obliged to
pay for the work which has been done.
The adding of Meta Tags, Description & Keywords; the submission of the
web design project to web search engines and directories; and updating
shall occur only after the full final payment has been cleared.

SEO Search Engine Optimisation

SEO (search engine optimisation) project before any optimisation work
will be carried out.
Deposits are non refundable once the project has started or is in
progress.
When a search engine optimisation project has been completed the final
balance of payment is due and the website will not be released until
payment has been cleared. The submission of the optimised project to web
search engines and directories shall occur only after the full final
payment has been cleared.
In the event of any third-party charges being accrued through returned
or stopped cheques, or other charges levied against payment on the
account, the customer accepts full liability for the costs involved.

optimisation, because they
have commissioned the work and paid a deposit they are still obliged to
pay for the work which has been done.
Copyrights &
Trademarks
The Client unconditionally guarantees that any elements of graphics,
photographs, designs, trademarks, text or other artwork furnished for
inclusion in the web design project are owned by the Client, or that the
Client has permission from the rightful owner to use each of these
elements, and will hold harmless, protect, indemnify and defend
Web World Designs
and its subcontractors from any liability (including legal
fees and court costs), including any claim or suit, threatened or
actual, arising from the use of such elements furnished by the Client.

Project Copyright
The Client will be assigned rights to use the web design project as a
web site, once final payment under this agreement and any additional
charges incurred have been paid in full.
Rights to design, source code, computer programs, and software applications used
are specifically not transferred to the Client, and remain the property
of their respective owners.
Web World Designs
retains the right to display a sample of clients Web design elements as
examples of
Web World Designs
portfolio.
All web design projects will have text links to
Web World Designs
website at the bottom of the web pages.
Search Engine
Optimisation
Web World Designs guarantees search engine placement
provided editorial rights are held exclusively by
Web World Designs,
however there is no guaranteed rank on the search engines and
Web World Designs
will not be held liable for search engine rankings.
Website
Maintenance
The website maintenance agreement allows for minor web site maintenance
to pages over a thirty (30) day period, up to an average of thirty (30)
minutes per web page, including updating links, replacing graphics and
making minor changes to a sentence or paragraph.
It does not include replacing nearly all the text from a page with new
text, major page reconstruction, new pages, navigation structure
changes, or repairs to attempted updates by Client.
The period of 30 days begins on the date the Client's web design site is
available to be published to Client's hosting service or 30 days from
the date this agreement was accepted online, which ever comes first.
Major page code and/or structural changes will be charged at hourly
rates.
When new requests are added or more designs are requested the project
may need a new quote and/or may take longer to complete and/or incur
extra costs to the client.
Consequential Loss
Under no circumstances
will
Web World Designs
be responsible or liable for financial or other loss or
damage caused by the failure or use or misuse of its software. The
client should ensure that data on their site is regularly backed up and
that a contingency plan is in place to minimise possible losses as a
result of software failure.
General
Web World Designs
reserves the right to decline to publish material
Web World Designs
considers to be unsuitable and to make any alterations to client
submitted material considered necessary to maintain the high standards
Web World Designs
insist upon.
Web World Designs
will not accept nor publish material of dubious legality.
Web World Designs
reserves the right to
amend or update these terms and conditions at any time. Prices and terms of service are liable to change without prior notice.
